Course Overview:
Hazmat Transport Drivers Training Course provides an introductory understanding with regards to the transportation of dangerous goods, such as the nine (9) classes of dangerous goods, various modes of transportation of DG in Singapore by a competent and qualified transporter as accreditated by SCDF. These safety training course will enable the drivers to understand the hazards that lead to emergency and how to handle emergency situations. In this training the participants will be shown how to prevent fires and respond to fires and spills whilst transporting DG.
All DG are classified into nine (9) primary classes and sub-divided into divisions which are taught during the course which will enable them to be familiar with the hazards associated with each classification.
This course is designed for participants who are drivers transporting & handling of hazardous materials.
